We live in a world that
teaches us to abandon ourselves, make ourselves smaller, and believe our
worth must be earned through achievement, approval, and sacrifice.
The Self Love Revolution challenges that narrative.
This is a place to heal old wounds, reclaim your voice, trust yourself deeply, and build a life rooted in self-worth instead of self-doubt.
Because when you choose yourself—from a place of compassion, acceptance, and deep self-worth—everything changes.
The greatest act of rebellion is to love yourself first.
Not after you've proven your worth.
Not after everyone else is taken care of.
Not after you've finally become "good enough."
Because those are the very beliefs that led you away from yourself.
Now.
The greatest act of rebellion is to love yourself as you are!
Right here. Right now.
The Self Love Revolution began with one person choosing herself — and it continues with every person who decides they are worthy of doing the same.
Founder of The Self Love Revolution
For more than 25 years, I have been exploring one question:
What does loving yourself actually look like?
More than simply saying the words.
More than simply understanding the concept.
More than simply believing you should love yourself.
But truly loving yourself.
What does it look like to trust yourself?
To honour your needs?
To stop abandoning yourself?
To know your worth without needing to prove it?
These questions have shaped my life’s work.
More than 25 years ago, I made a promise.
That my children would grow up believing they were worthy in ways I never believed about myself.
That promise changed my life.
It became a journey of healing, learning, and remembering who I truly was.
I grew up in a home that taught me to question myself, hide my needs, and believe that my worth was something I had to earn.
For many years, I survived by becoming who I thought I needed to be.
But with that promise to my kids, I began the journey back to myself.
I learned that self-love is not about fixing myself or becoming someone new.
It is about remembering who you were before the world taught you to doubt yourself.
When I turned 50, I made a choice that deeply reflected that journey.
For the first portion of my life, I carried the name Daneaya Ziolkoski. It was the name I was given, the name connected to my history and every version of myself that came before.
During a meditation, the name Lily Amarais came through for me.
It felt like a name that represented the woman I had been becoming—the woman who was learning to trust herself, honour herself, and choose herself.
Changing my name was not about rejecting who I had been.
It was about honouring the journey that brought me here.
It was a declaration that I was allowed to define myself, embrace who I was becoming, and step fully into the next chapter of my life.
Today, that promise has grown into something much bigger!
The Self Love Revolution exists so fewer people spend decades believing they aren't enough.
It is a movement rooted in the belief that a world transformed begins with individuals who know their worth.
A world where people no longer abandon themselves to be accepted.
A world where children grow up knowing they are enough.
A world where self-love isn't seen as selfish, but as the foundation for healthier families, healthier relationships, healthier communities, and ultimately a healthier world.
Through my own lived experience, decades of personal growth, and professional training in transformational modalities, I support people in reconnecting with themselves, healing old patterns, and creating a relationship with themselves built on compassion, trust, and worthiness.
The Self Love Revolution is not about becoming perfect.
It is about coming home to yourself.
Because the greatest act of rebellion is to love yourself first.
Welcome to the Revolution.
